Born in 1969, Kei has been working in product design since completing her studies at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts. Her designs show a keen mixture of function and design as well as uniquely reflecting an enjoyment of everyday living. With shows centered primarily in Toyko her work has been seen in solo exhibitions at such galleries as Saatchi & Saatchi as well as at Happening Tokyo, Tokyo Designers Block and Tokyo Designers Week.
