Born in 1962 and a 1993 graduate of Holland's Gerrit Rietveld Academy, and opened his studio in Amsterdam. Stallinga works both autonomously as well as for the industry. His industrial work is characterised by a great diversity of production techniques and materials. His work has become part of modern art museum collections worldwide including the New York MoMA, SF MoMA, Paris Fonds National d'Art, and Copenhagen Louisiana Museum.
