Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune formed their Swedish design partnership in 1995, practicing both architecture and design in "the classic Scandinavian multi-disciplinary way." Numerous monographs and books about their work place CKR at the head of Scandinavian design with mythic descriptions praising the inventive concepts, humour, and instinctive simplicity of their work. An encapsulation of some of their projects may mention their shop for Gucci, Sony headquarters and Louis Vuitton in Stockholm, Sfera culture building in Kyoto, and product developments with such companies as Asplund, Boffi, David Design, Living Divani, Modus, Offecct, and Swedese.
